Depends on locality - 2, 3 or even 4 broods per year. Habitat: Damp, grassy and flowery places, woodland margins, hedgerows. Larval Host Plant: Brassicaceae. Ova laid singly on underside of leaves. Larvae feeds on developing leaves. Hibernates as pupae.
