Range: NW Africa, Europe, Turkey to W Siberia, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. Flight Period: Mid March/October (Hibernating adults appearing in March). Habitat: Damp or dry bushy placesespecially associated with woodland. Larval host plant: Frangula alnus, Rhamnus catharticus, R. alaternus, R. alpinus. Ova laid singly on developing leaves or stems. Pupates on LHP stems. Hibernates as adult.4 / 12
