Long-horned moth

This moth can be seen in the UK between May and June. The male has the longer antenna which is many times the length of its body. Th larvae feed in the leaf litter. Body length about 8mm.

    With antennae like that, I'm surprised it needs to fly. Great shot of an unbelievable moth.

    Thank you for your comment on this moth. It is quite common in the UK. This specimen was about 8mm long (body only) The antenna, as can be seen from this image was many times longer than the body. I shall update the description.
