  • Freightliner 66 545 passes through platform 1, light engine, heading in the Sherburn-in-Elmet direction.

  • The rear of the station building. The upper floor is level with the bridge approach road and gives access to the footbridge. The station building now houses both a restaurant and tacket office.
  • This is the north end of plaforms 1 & 2 showing the overgrown and abandoned length of platform.
  • Taken from Platform 3 looking south. The three tracks sweeping right lead to Leeds. The spur from the nearest track leads to the Sherburn-in-Elmet lines,
  • Taken from the top of the footbridge looking north towards York. The three tracks on the left are Platform 4 (Leeds - York). through track (no platform face), Platform 3 (York - Leeds and Sherburn-in-Elmet). The two tracks to the right are platform 2 (Sherburn-in Elmet - York) and platform 1 (York - Sherburn-in Elmet).
  • Taken from the top of the footbridge at the top of the stairs leading to the island platforms 2 and 3.
  • Taken from platform 1. A loaded coal train, hauled by a Class 66 diesel locomotive, heads north towards York. It probably originated from Gascoigne Wood on the Leeds Selby line. This train will have joined this route at Sherburn-in-Elmet, having taken the spur line at Gascoigne Wood.
  • Taken from the south end of Platform 1. The pair of tracks in the foreground lead to Sherburn-in-Elmet. The three tracks sweeping to the right lead to Leeds.
