Closer view of the rail connection. Extensive re-signalling work has been carried out in the station area on the Mid hants Railway. This work was to allow trains to run off the Network Rail tracks by integrating the signalling. The signal box is owned by the Mid Hants Railway and a ground frame controlling the pointwork can be seen in front and to the right of the signal box.
