Class 11 shunter (12 049) in the yard. This loco is in the livery of its previous owner who purchased it when it was withdrawn from the National Network.

A view of the exit trackwork from the Loco Shed/Yard complex.In the centre is the newly erected paint shop. The line from the yard leads out to a long storage siding which also is a head shunt from the yard. Locos then have to reverse direction along the line to the left of the water tower, to access the running lines.

The western terminus of the Mid Hants railway. This station is shared with the National Network. Locomotives and rolling stock can be transferred from one to the other through the gate seen across the track. The Mid Hants Railway use the left hand platform and South West Trains use the other two platform faces. A South West Trains electric multiple unit occupies the track on the right. Colour light signals are being installed on the Mid Hants railway to increase the intensity of the service.
